Jennifer Shumate, born and raised in Orlando Florida. An early interest in photography spured the purchase of her first entry level SLR camera at the age of 16 and she has avidly maintained a passion for photography since.

With a focus in Fine Art and Fashion Photography, she hopes to draw on these styles to present a unique take on weddings and portraits. While employed at local traditional portrait studios, she gained the ability to transition from posed shots to unobtrusive photojournalism and to sometimes merge the two... often capturing what seems like a carefully set-up posed image, when in fact the subject had not even been aware of her presence.

Jennifer lends a well developed artistic eye - having a background in the fine arts such as painting, drawing, ceramics, interior design, and floral design. Jennifer currently resides in Winter Park, Florida.

Equipment:

We shoot primarily using high resolution digital Canon Professional SLR cameras. 35mm & 120mm (Medium Format) may also be used in some of the larger packages. Our Digital Prints are done by a professional printing company on high quality archival (acid free) paper, and when compared side by side to an image from a traditional film camera, one cannot tell the difference.
